Winter is officially here! We have about seven inches of snow on the ground and lots of ice in the streets. The temperature has barely hit 20 degrees over the last month. Wednesday they even declared a snow emergency and most businesses closed for the day. Sammy could not be happier.

HA! 7 inches! That's nothing! We have a good 2+ feet on the ground and were happy to be in positive highs, when they hit double digits we really celebrated! (And on the flip side the double digit negative highs made us wonder why we were going outside at all. They closed the schools for a few days, but sadly no businesses closed.)
It is 37 outside right now and we don't know what to do with ourselves or what exactly to wear ... I'm so used to trying to have the least amount of skin exposed possible!
Oh, those icicles are pretty cool! Don't park your car under them.
